How long does it take to find a new backlink?

The search for backlinks is carried out continuously, and the best-known links with the most visits are always inserted first in our databases since they are those that appear on the greatest number of pages, which does not mean that we stop inserting small websites, but the reality is that they are more difficult to find by trackers since they appear on fewer occasions.

Link Building Strategy to get Backlinks from a Backlink Checker

Link Building is the process used over time to obtain links from other websites to pages on your own site.

Link Building has the main purpose of obtaining backlinks to increase the ranking of a website in the search results of the main search engines. As a consequence, the website will be better known and will have a greater number of visits.

An optimal link building process involves obtaining links of the highest quality, well classified in search engines, and with a high number of visits. For this, backlink checking tools are useful since we can analyze the backlinks of competing websites and see the quality links that are making that page position better than ours.

The best way to build links is to find web pages with the same theme as our website, check that they have a good web ranking, and try to obtain a link to our site:

  • Using the backlink analysis tool, we look for the best backlinks from the competition and see how we can obtain some of those backlinks, or how the competition has done it, either by writing comments on some of their publications or by contacting the site directly and proposing to write some quality articles for free.
  • Search directly on Google for websites on our topic and carry out the same process as the previous step.
For example, if our site is about food, we can write the following in the Google search box: "food". Always write our phrase of interest in quotes so that we can find pages related exactly to that.
  • We analyze each of the pages shown one by one, taking into account that the pages shown at the top of the search are already quality pages by default since they are the first ones that the search engine shows us due to their high authority.
  • We look for forums related to our topic, and we try to register and open a new topic or write comments on one that is open.
A good way is to use the Google search engine again to search for related forums.

Questions of Interest

What is a Backlink?

Backlinks are links from external websites that point to any page on your website. These links are useful mainly because they are a basic source for sending traffic to your website. That is, the more backlinks your website has, the more chances it has of receiving visits from all websites. Consequently, having numerous backlinks directed to your website makes your site gain popularity, which is reflected in its positioning in the main search engines such as Google.

At Lookkle we measure the ranking of each web page that links to your site. Many high-ranking web pages will cause better results in search engines and, consequently, a good handful of visits.

Backlinks are important for Search Engine Rankings

Search engines like Google use backlinks to measure the popularity of a website. A website that is linked from pages with a lot of popularity and numerous visits means that this page is important, so it will be taken into account when positioning it for certain search terms, especially in the theme that is used from the linking web page. It must also be taken into account that all search engines have the general objective of ensuring that the website they position has good content and provides value and wisdom to the end user.

Types of Backlinks

  • Dofollow links, also known as rel="dofollow", are HTML tags for SEO and website optimization. These types of links are important for search engines since they indicate whether it is an important link to open or simply an informative link.
DoFollow links are a type of backlink that tells users and search engine crawlers that your content is relevant and trustworthy.
Having doFollow backlinks is highly recommended for any website, as they indicate to search engines that they are important links.
The dofollow attribute helps improve the domain authority or rating of a website.
  • Nofollow links, also known as rel=”nofollow”, are HTML tags used to tell search engines not to follow a link to the website it links to. This is a useful tool for webmasters because it allows them to link to websites from their home page without necessarily guaranteeing the accuracy of the content of those websites.
This is important because websites do not want to be responsible for the content of other websites, although, as a general rule, showing the link to another external website always conveys something of importance despite not wanting to be responsible for it.

What are the types of Important Backlinks

Nofollow links have little value from an SEO point of view, since from search engines like Google they are not as important as doFollow links, but even so, you have to think that if you are linking to a noFollow page from a page with many visits and a significant amount of web traffic is being transmitted, the receiving page will have numerous benefits and will surely be a more important type of backlink than another doFollow backlink from a web page that contributes absolutely nothing.

For any search engine, having a page linked from another, giving it importance in the context in which it is located and spoken, and inducing a click on it, with the consequence of the web traffic that is sent, is a link that must be taken into account by search engines like Google, which is why differentiating between doFollow and noFollow links is always something that should be taken with a grain of salt and always look at the context in which it is located.

It is not the same to place a noFollow link within a page where informative quality text has been made and the link is introduced, inducing a click, as to place a noFollow link in a lost place within a website without the user having access to that link at any time.

Placing doFollow links outside any context, without any relation to the content or the page being discussed, and outside any inducement to click, is a link of little value and one that Google will take less into account than any high-value noFollow links.
